All our ISO & Q-Mark certification is done via our accreditation body BM Trada.
We are also very proud to announce that through Energy Gain UK Ltd, Starbank are now a certified carbon neutral company, in accordance with PAS 2060:2014. This is a huge achievement as we are also, the first company within the panel fabrication industry to achieve this accolade.
PAS 2060:2014 carbon neutral company
PAS 2060:2014 is the only internationally recognised standard for carbon neutrality.
Through sustained and significant investment in our manufacturing plant and equipment, notably our Biomass, Solar and Extraction systems we have been able to dramatically reduced our CO² emissions over the last 5 years, which, along with other offset measures, has enabled us to meet these stringent requirements and gain carbon neutral certification.

Our SHIELD® fire retardant doors & frames are accredited to the strictest standards set out by BM Trada. This gives our customers the assurance that all our fire doors are
Q-Mark certified.
quality control management
ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognised standard for quality. Our certification, reassures our customers that we are fully committed to quality. We are regularly audited on this standard by our third party certification body.
environmental management
ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard. It provides us with an Environmental Management System (EMS) to control and improve our environmental performances. This standard covers all areas of Starbank not just the manufacturing side.
health & safety management
Assessment and certification to ISO 45001:2018, demonstrates our commitment to continual improvement in health and safety.
fsc® chain of custody
The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is an international organisation that brings people together to find solutions which promote responsible stewardship of the world’s forests.
The chain provides us with a traceable procurement, fabrication and distribution system for wood based panel products, laminates and certified hardwoods.

pefc chain of custody
Chain of custody certification provides a guarantee about the production of PEFC certified components. Chain-of-custody is the path taken by raw materials from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution.
From a customer perspective, the PEFC Chain represents an ethical promise that is being made to them.
