Magicut optimisation

At Starbank we have a programme of constant investment in the latest technology which has driven the business to the forefront of our industry. The investment in plant and machinery has also been accompanied by investment in software to improve efficiency, Magicut is one such piece of software. Magicut is a leading board optimisation software which enables Starbank to offer our customer the best yield from their chosen sheet material and provides us with the most efficient cutting patterns to reduce waste and keep the manufacturing process lean.

Once the customers panel requirement list has been entered into Magicut by one of our trained operatives we are then able to advise the customer of the recommended sheet size to minimise waste and keep costs down. The process is quick and easy as most of the information relating to sheet size is already stored in the data base.

With strong relationships and direct accounts with many of the large board manufacturers and in combination with the efficiencies Magicut offers we are able to offer our customers exceptionally good value for money in relation to raw material costs.
