Compact or solid grade laminate

Compact laminate is a self supporting material with two decorative faces, composed similar to standard HPL, however, the core is constructed of many layers of phenolic resin impregnated Kraft papers, offering exceptional resistance to impact and moisture.

Thickness’ range from 6mm up to 19mm +

Conformity:

Decorative laminates conform to EN 438 and ISO 4586. These standards define the performance of the various grades of laminate in relation to their application. For example, the wear resistance specified for horizontal grade laminates is higher than that specified for vertical grade laminates.

To certify conformity with these specifications, laminates are tested for:
Resistance to surface wear, boiling water, dry heat, impact, cracking, scratching, stains, colour change in artificial light, cigarette burns, steam, dimensional stability, postformability & reaction to fire.
