Compact laminate postforming

Solid grade laminate is a self supporting material that does not require a substrate to be bonded to it, unlike normal grades of high pressure laminates. The material is non porous, Hygienic and rot proof. It is also chemically inert allowing contact with foodstuffs and has a black core which requires no edging.

Compact or Solid Grade laminate has been, and will be, the material of choice for high performance applications in such demanding areas as Cubicles, Showers and washrooms, Laboratories and Educational end uses.

Commercial Postforming has to a point been restricted to thin high pressure laminates formed with heat and pressure over chipboard, mdf or plywood´s.

The Aquaform range

Polyrey have developed a 10mm thick compact laminate offering a number of colourways to the marketplace with the top faces constructed as if it were normal postforming grade laminate.

This now gives the product the opportunity to be postformed following advanced CNC machining and specialist postforming techniques.

We now offer in partnership with Polyrey solid grade elements with integral upstands and downstands with no unsightly joints as previously required with solid laminates.
