Our BAZ 723 unit offers outstanding panel quality by combining a high standard of finish together with a flexible high capacity output. our extensive and diverse customer base utilises this technology within a wide variety markets which include the following:

ADVANCED SHAPED EDGEBANDING

Starbank operate 2 dedicated BAZ machining centres for very high quality edgebanding to shaped or curved workpieces. Our current machines BAZ 722 & BAZ 723 offer the very latest CNC processing power for small, medium and large batch production runs.

Reliability and maximum throughput with repeatability every time is the major benefit of employing this technology over lesser manual systems which struggle to offer the right level of finish to sensitive or expensive value added components - notably for the office, contract furniture and retail shop-fitting industries.

Our most sophisticated BAZ 723 was one of the largest ever to be installed in the UK by Homag - this machine works alongside our existing BAZ 722 handling thousands of components each month.

We have invested millions of pounds in the last few years alone on through feed drilling and panel sizing technology which works in conjunction with the BAZ 723 & BAZ 722. This has enables us to reinforce our position as one of the UK's premier component suppliers.

Our machines are capable of working with raw substrates / laminated boards / MFC & MF MDF & Egger Eurolight (subject to specification). Edging capabilities are as follows: 1,2 & 3mm ABS, 3D Acrylic & Veneer. Tight internal and external radius's are also capable on this machine, subject to specification.

BAZ shaped edgebanding 

Our 3 independent BAZ machining centres are capable of working with high pressure laminated boards/MFC and even solid grade laminates. Edging capabilities are aqs follows:

1, 2 & 3mm ABS Acrylic Edgebanding Real veneer coiled material

Machine & component capabilities include:

One or Two independent Routing heads with separate edgebanding One or Two individual beds that can accommodate the following- One single component up to 5730 x 1850mm Two individual components up to 2550 x 1850mm Four individual components up to 1850 x 1025mm

New edging technology allows an even tighter external radius, the first of its type in the UK on a BAZ CNC and the ability to edge panels up to 50mm thick.

Butt joint – complete 360°
The 360° gluing head makes a perfect butt joint on all our machines. Both ends of the edge come together so exact that only a fine hairline can be seen.

Thick solid edges
Several veneer edges can be glued one on top of the other and subsequently edge profiled to give a shaped solid hardwood edge – the easy way.
