ADVANCED SHAPED EDGEBANDING

Starbank operate 2 dedicated BAZ machinging centres for very high quality edgebanding to shaped or curved workpieces. Our current machines BAZ 722 & BAZ 723 offer the very latest CNC processing power for small, medium and large batch production runs.

Reliability and maximum throughput with repeatability everytime is the major benefit of employing this technology over lesser manual systems which struggle to offer the right level of finish to sensitive or expensive value added components - notably for the Office, Contract and POS industries.

Our most sophisticated BAZ 723 was one of the largest ever to be installed in the UK by Homag, something that Starbank are very proud of. This machine works alongside our existing BAZ 722 handling thousands of components each month.

Starbank has an extensive client list including major Office & Contract furniture companies who outsource their components, safe in the knowledge that their work will be carried out by some of the UK's finest operators on the best possible equipment available to our industry. Some £1.5M alone has been invested in the last few years on through feed drilling and panel sizing technology which works in conjunction with the BAZ 723 & BAZ 722. We now stand as one of the UK's premier component suppliers.

Our machines are capable of working with raw substrates / Laminated boards / MFC & MF MDF & Egger Eurolight (subject to specification).

Edging capabilities are : 1,2 & 3mm ABS, 3D Acrylic & Veneer.

Tight internal and external radius's are also capable on this machine, subject to specification.
